Who We Are
Kristen Traverse is a Registered Nurse specializing in neuroscience, mental and developmental health and chronic disease education. She is an Anat Baniel Method NeuroMovment Practitioner and Osteopathic Therapist, certified in Integrated Somatic Trauma therapy and has extensive training in trauma-informed practice, CBT, mindfulness and somatic-based interventions.
As a NeuroMovement practitioner, Kristen works directly with children with neurodiversity, such as autism and ADHD and those with learning challenges. She also works with people with traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, high performers and those who want to feel more emotionally regulated.
Kristen empowers neurodiverse individuals through neuro-affirming methods and collaborates with schools to integrate brain health practices into classrooms. She also trains school staff on the fundamentals of neuroplasticity and guides them in applying transformative techniques to support neurodiverse learners.
A stroke survivor herself, she also leads workshops and public talks on innovative approaches to brain health, recovery and resilience. She draws from her personal journey and dedication to enhancing lives through neuroplasticity, holistic therapy and a sense of wellbeing.
